Peter Thomas Roth Lashes To Die For™ The Liner Review

Behold one of my favorite liners of late - the new Peter Thomas Roth Lashes To Die For™ The Liner. It's quite an innovative product because it's not just a liner per se. It's actually a liquid treatment that helps enhance the look of naturally longer thicker fuller lashes in just 6 weeks (as claimed by the manufacturer). The company claims that high levels of active SymPeptide™ at 10% are infused in this liquid treatment liner that help dramatically enhance the appearance of natural lash length, thickness and fullness when used daily.

This review however is not about the lash treatment, but on the performance of the product as a liquid liner. I have not used this product long enough to make an intelligent opinion on its performance as a lash treatment, so here's my two cents on the liner aspect.

I am a huge fan of liquid liners. I almost always use liquid liner on a daily basis. I like the crisp, precise lines liquid liners produce, because I just like sharp (as opposed to smudged) lines on my lashline. That's why I am always on a quest for the perfect liquid liner. I have felt tip liquid liners that look great from afar, but as a beauty blogger, my eyes are always the focus of my tutorials, and I hate crooked lines caused by a poorly performing liquid liner. Some liners I've tried produce gaps on the line that you need to re-apply the product several times to achieve the desired look, only to find out that the line ended up way too thick for your liking because of these several applications.

This liner from Peter Thomas Roth glides like a dream on the lashline. It does not give me a patchy application, just buttery smoothness all over. You can make the line as thin or as thick as you want. See that swatch up there? It took me two whole days to scrub those lines off mys kin. It didn't budge at all. I would guess makeup remover is your best friend when taking this product off.

Used Peter Thomas Roth Lashes To Die For™ Liner (Tutorial for this look will be up soon!)

Loved the darkness of the black ink, and the felt tip was easy to use and gives maximum control.

The only downside to this product is the price. It retails for $48.00 per 0.04 fl oz / 1.2ml and can be purchased at Sephora or Sephora.com. Quite steep, but I think one needs to factor in the lash treatment aspect. The company claims that lashes appear twice as thick in six weeks. I cannot vouch for that statement, but I will continue to use the product and will let you know.

The Shades Of U Rating: 4.25 out of 5 stars
