Butter London Nail Lacquer Swatches: Big Smoke and Wallis

Big Smoke

Oh wow, I really love Butter London nail lacquers. I only have two BLs in my stash, but they are outstanding both in color and staying power. The first one is Big Smoke, a vibrant, metallic deep teal with such amazing brilliance. It is such an edgy, funky, but quite classy color. One of my favorites in my burgeoning stash.

Wallis

The superstar of the Butter London line for me is Wallis. I wanted to weep when I swatched this baby. It's so gorgeous! It's a beautiful metallic antique gold which has very dense flecks of tiny gold metallic sparkles in a black base, but you can hardly see the base as the gold flecks are quite thick. I couldn't stop staring at my tips when I wore it. It also didn't chip for at least five days, which is quite a feat. I love the longevity of this product on the nails, as well as the gorgeous finish. The price is a little steep at $14 a pop, but I think it is very much worth it. It's available at Nordstrom and ULTA. I got the very last Wallis at my neighborhood ULTA, and I really believe it was meant for me. ;)

Wallis is such a pretty shade!!!! It's really too bad that we don't, and probably will not have this brand in our country :(

I LOVE this packaging...but it's easy to use? I think it could be a little hard to apply with that shape of cap...we'll you can use another brush instead

Biba- yes they are!

prettybeautiful- yes Wallis is such a gorgeous color; one of the best I've seen in a while.

idaira- like Chanel polishes, the rectagular cap is just that - a cap. The actual brush has a round handle and it's easy to use.
