Give up? It's none other than my favorite environment-friendly brush brand, ecoTOOLS! Their products are undoubtedly the finest “green” additions to any beauty lover’s toolbox. The best part? They’re extremely easy on the pocketbook, with nothing in the collection retailing over $12.99.

Want to read reviews of their amazing brushes? Check out MY ECOTOOLS REVIEW. I quote an excerpt of my ecoTOOLS brush review below:

Everybody wants to go "green" or environment-friendly these days, but with the mainstream cosmetic industry offering few alternatives to traditional makeup and cosmetic tools, it's difficult to be a beauty enthusiast and environmentally-conscious at the same time. Until now. Did you know that the bamboo is a highly sustainable plant that can grow up to 4 feet daily? With such abundance of this versatile, highly usable plant, a company spawned the concept of an entire cosmetic brush collection made of bamboo handles and recycled materials that is as gorgeous as it is unique. EcoTools launches a collection of amazing bath and body accessories this month, as well as cosmetic tools that make it easy to go "green".

I love the Zen-ish appeal of this cosmetic and bath accessories collection. I love, love the bamboo handles, they look so classy and expensive, and I did a double-take when I saw the prices. Aren't those reasonable or what? I especially love that the synthetic hairs are uber-soft and very silky on the skin. I will definitely be using the powder and blush brush for my application of my minerals, and the eyeshadow brushes are also great, vegan and eco-friendly additions to my eye brush collection.

This month is Earth Month, and what better way to get green and gorgeous this April than to do it with ecoTOOLS! ecoTools was launched just early last year, and it is slowly becoming the premier brand for environmental-friendly, cruelty-free makeup brushes and tools. Here are some of ecoTOOLs' bestsellers:

ecoTOOLS 6-Piece Brush Set ($12.99)

This all-inclusive brush set is one of the most beloved products in the collection. It comes with all a girl needs to make beauty simple and natural—just the way nature intended. Products include: Blush Brush, Eye Shading Brush, Eyeliner Brush, Concealer Brush, Lash and Brow Groomer, and a Linen and Hemp Brush Case.

ecoTOOLS Recycled Retractable Kabuki Brush ($7.99)

ecoTOOLS thinks beyond bamboo with the Recycled Aluminum Retractable Kabuki Brush. Recycled aluminum helps to save energy and reduce waste – which is always in style. This sleek brush is perfect for applying a touch of blush or a dusting of powder. Plus, the casing is super sleek and chic!

ecoTOOLS Foundation Brush ($5.99)

Chosen as an Editor’s Pick by InStyle for their Best Beauty Buys, this fab foundation brush works just as well (if not better) than the pricey department store ones. The soft bristles insure that foundation goes out smoothly, evenly, and without any skin irritation. Definitely a must-have!

Editor's Note: I use this foundation brush to apply mineral concealer on my undereye area over my cream concealer. It doesn't make my concealer cake and it gives the best coverage without accentuating fine lines. This is a godsend!

ecoTOOLS 5-Piece Travel Brush Set ($5.99)

Like its big sister, this travel brush kit has all a girl needs to get by on the go. Respectfully traverse the earth with this pint-size set, which has the necessary survival tools for any adventure. Throw it in your carry-on for quick and easy re-application as you brave long security lines and crowded airports. The set includes a mineral powder brush, concealer brush, eye shading brush, lash and brow groomer, and a linen and hemp brush case.

I've had these amazing brushes for a little over a year now, and I am very pleased to report that they still look and work as amazing as the first day I'd tried them. They haven't lost their shape despite frequent washings, and the hairs have not splayed nor shed. As I said, I use the foundation brush to apply mineral concealer on my undereye area, and I use the blush brush to apply my favorite MAC mineralize blushes (they look beautiful when used with this brush). I also use the powder brush to apply my finishing powder, and it works amazing as well. The eye brushes are also used by me to spot-apply mineral makeup to conceal blemishes, or to apply emollient or cream products on my face (like paint pots and such). I love this line, and I am amazed at how affordable this is, which is perfect for this economy. Don't forget to check them out at your nearest Walgreens, Target or ULTA stores.

I received some EcoTools brushes last year from Paris Presents and I love them. The Recycled Aluminum Retractable Kabuki Brush is my FAVORITE kabuki brush and I use it every day. I have both of the brush sets (the 5 piece and the 6 piece). I keep trying to find a separate shader brush from the 5 piece set because I use it almost every day and would like a back up. I love these brushes! I think I have close to 15 of them now :) (which means yes, they're about 1/3 or so of my brush collection).

It makes me happy to see other people love them as much as I do!

Paint Me Gorgeous- I love how great they look and yet they're so affordable.

Phyrra- Good for you! I've loved them even before they were really popular. Now they're all over blogs and beauty sites. Just goes to show that good quality and affordability CAN go hand-in-hand, and in this economy, that's what people want and need.
