Zoya Summer 2015: Zoya Paradise Sun Nail Polish Collection Swatches, Review

Press sample

The funnest season of the year is upon us!  I always look forward to this time of the year, as I get to wear the wildest, craziest, brightest colors on my nails.  I also look forward to Zoya's offerings for summer, as they are usually quite pretty and the textures pay homage to the warm weather.

As usual, Zoya came up with two summer collections: a shimmery/metallic finish, and one with a cream finish.  Check out my review and swatches of the Zoya Island Fun collection HERE.

This post is all about the shimmer collection called Zoya Paradise Sun.  It is composed of some of the best colors we associate with summer, warm beaches and deep blue oceans.  Below are my swatches and thoughts on these.

Zoya Isa
Zoya Isa

Zoya Isa is a beautiful brilliant blue-purple with flecks of glistening pink, blue and teal micro glitters.  I like that it is bright and yet deep at the same time.

Zoya Genesis

Zoya Genesis

Zoya Genesis is a shimmery white with flashes of silver.  It looks very clean on the nails.  I will definitely use this instead of a white cream when I do nail art or nail stamping.

Zoya Selene

Zoya Selene

Zoya Selene is one of my favorites from this collection.  It is such a mermaid-y kind of shimmery ocean green.   This is a great shade for the beach or anywhere.  I just love it!

Zoya Mae

Zoya Mae

Zoya Mae is a shimmery magenta.  It is a very pretty color that I think would make for a great pedi color.

Zoya Aphrodite

Zoya Aphrodite is a bright warm red with gold flecks that glisten beautifully when light hits it.  It's not m favorite red from Zoya as it is a little too warm for my taste, but the glistening flecks really make it eye-catching.  This is also a great pedicure color.

Zoya Oceane
Zoya Oceane

Zoya Oceane is my favorite along with Selene.  It is a beautiful ocean blue with flashes of silver micro-flecks.  It really does remind me of the shimmery ocean surface.

All in all, I am loving the shades from this collection.  I do wish that there was a gold or orange, but then I could always find those colors from previous Zoya collections.

My favorites are definitely Oceane, Selene and Mae.  What are yours?

Zoya nail polish is available at retail outlets and select salons nationwide, and on their website at zoya.com for $9 each.
