Black Swan and MAC Cosmetics: Q&A with Black Swan Makeup Designers



As part of M·A·C’s Artist Relations’ constant support of the film, theater and television industries, MAC has the unique opportunity to have its products be featured in some of the most memorable scenes in our culture.

One of the most highly anticipated films this year is undoubtedly The Black Swan, which premiered last night. Below is a Q&A from the film’s makeup department head Margie Durand and makeup designer Judy Chin on the finale Black Swan look.

NEW YORK, NY, November 15, 2010 – M·A·C Cosmetics announces the launch of M∙A∙C Me Over!, the first of its kind national contest that aims to tap into its fan base to be the official faces for its Fall Colour Collection. On November 15th, M∙A∙C will kick off the nationwide contest promoting all M∙A∙C addicts to enter before the December 20th cut off date.

Six very lucky winners will be chosen and flown to New York City, where they will have the opportunity to be photographed by an award-winning celebrity and fashion photographer, and those photographs may be used as part of materials that will appear at M·A·C stores and counters throughout the world. The criteria: Style, Heart and Soul.
