I have reviewed most of the skincare that I was able to roadtest from Bioelements, so this is my last installment on this skincare line. As I've said in my previous Bioelements review, this line targets skin issues according to one's skin type, so it's like a personalized skincare regimen that targets your skin's problem areas.
This time, I focus on the two products that make my skin feel clean and refreshed: the Flash Foam Cleanser and the Equalizer.
I like the scent of the Flash Foam Cleanser - it gives a very light, clean scent, and the foam gently takes off grime, dirt and makeup to leave my skin ready for the application of serums and retinoids as I get ready for bed. I like the gentle foam formula, quite different from the facial cleansers I've tried. It's quite economical as you only need one puff to clean the face. The brand claims that 500 puffs of foam in every bottle - used twice a day will last just under 4 months.
As you can see in the photo above, Bioelements created the Equalizer to hydrate just-cleansed skin, to rebalance and nourish, and to prep the skin for moisturizers. It's good for all skin types, whether you have very oily or very dry skin or somewhere in between.
It's an Alcohol-free toner infused with soothing plant extracts. I like the cool mist and the refreshing feeling it gives once I spritz it on my face. I did have a hard time with the sprayer as it failed to spray for a good while, but I was eventually able to fix it. I am really liking the after feel of this product - it did not make my skin too tight or too oily.
All in all, I've been liking and enjoying the Bioelements line. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it is. The Flash Foam Cleanser retails for $34 (192 ml/6.5 oz), and the Equalizer retails for $29 (6 oz) and are available on bioelements.com.
