The Man Repeller for Glossybox Winter Survival Box Review

I was able to try The Man Repeller for Glossybox with a nice "handwritten" card from Leandra of The Man Repeller.  I was really interested in some of these brands because I have not tried these particular products yet.  If you don't know yet, Glossybox is a subscription-based sampling service that includes 5 sample size products. These are actually pretty good sized samples and not the miniscule ones that are only good for 1 or 2 uses. Subscriptions are for $21/month, 6 months for $115 (or $19.16 a month), or yearly for $220 ($18.33 a month) including shipping.

For the Man Repeller Box, I got the following:

Living Proof Prime Style Extender

The minute I saw the Living Proof Style Extender, I really wanted to try it.  It's a weightless hair primer that claims to extend hairstyles twice as long.  I do notice that my hair "behaves" better with the product, and I can really see the difference because my hair does not feel greasy or too bogged down with products when I use this.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Eau de Toilette

The full size of this fragrance is $77 for 1.6 oz so it is a tad expensive.  I am not a fan of this scent because it's too heavy and musky for me.  I do feel that this would be a great winter scent because of the sensual notes it evokes.
Vincent Longo Lipstain SPF 15 Lipstick

It's supposed to be an award-winning lipstick with SPF 15.  This Vincent Longo Lipstain is really great.  I'm loving the glossy texture, the moisturizing effect on the lips, the beautiful red color, and just the luxurious feel of this product.
Ffresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum

I like the feel of this product on my skin; it really makes the pores look smaller and mattifies my oily T-zone.  It's a simple product but it does what it claims to do.
OPI Can't Let Go Liquid Sand Nail Lacquer

OPI Can't Let Go is one of the prettiest Liquid Sands in my opinion.  It is a beautiful purple matte with sparkle.  Same gritty texture, but the royal purple really stands out.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara

I am not sure if I like this mascara yet, as it is a little too dry for my liking.  I do like how it does not clump at all and separates the lashes quite nicely.  If you don't like a too moist mascara, this one is for you.

Le Metier de Beaute Replenishing Daily Solution

This cream really does feel luxurious, has a nice pleasant scent, and moisturizes the skin.  However, for $225 a pop, I'm not sure if this is actually worth the price.

All in all, I am loving the products in this box.  The selection was well-thought of and they did not scrimp on the size or the actual products themselves.  My favorites are the Living Proof Prime Style Extender and the gorgeous Vincent Longo lipstiain SPF15 lipstick, the last one I believe is a full size product.
