Here's the rest of the swatches of the China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away collection. As I'd mentioned in China Glaze Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away Swatches and Review Part 1, China Glaze partnered with Paramount Pictures to offer an exclusive collection of nail polishes inspired by the upcoming film, "Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away" in theaters December 21st.
China Glaze features 12 new shades of nail polish for this collection, and this is the first time I've seen China Glaze come up with indie-nail lacquer-esque glitters. I've posted swatches of the first six shades, here are the glitter bombs!

Benjabelle Makeup Brush Tree Review
Thursday, November 29, 2012
Hey makeup brush connoisseurs! If you have been reading my blog for years- do you remember this?
My handyman husband created this little brush dryer hanger for me to use. It was one of the best inventions he's made, mainly because it is based on one very important fact: you need to dry the brushes upside down (or at least not standing up) because you need to get the moisture away from the ferrules. This is exactly the position I want my brushes to be in while drying from their weekly washes, especially my synthetic mineral makeup kabuki and flat-top brushes because it takes one whole day for them to dry. I want all the moisture away from the ferrules and the base of the hairs, so I want them upside down.
Apparently, my Macgyver hubby is not the only one who had this concept in their head, because the Benjabelle folks invented the Brush Tree that is so simple yet so ingenious, I don't know why nobody (not even my husband) didn't think about it before!

China Glaze Wicked Collection Swatches and Review
Saturday, November 24, 2012
I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving! I unearthed some photo swatches of the China Glaze Halloween offering called Wicked in my iPhoto, and I know it's a tad too late, but as they say, better late than never! Also, the reason why I still want to publish swatches of this collection is that I think this is the best Halloween collection from China Glaze that I've come across. I love the buttery smooth formula of the shades, and many of the shades are quite unique.
Here are my thoughts on the six colors.
China Glaze Bizarre Blurple (sunlight)
(shade)
Bizaare Blurple is a really nice purple with blue metallic shimmer. This looks really vivid in real life, and it complements my skintone (or many skintones for that matter).
Roguish Red (sunlight)
Roguish Red is one of my favorites from this collection. This is a simple red orange creme, but the thing that stands out in my opinion is the formula. It's very smooth, buttery, and it glides like a dream on the nailbed.
China Glaze Make a Spectacle over Roguish Red (sunlight)
(shade)
Make a Spectacle is hands down my favorite flakie polish that came out recently. It's a gorgeous opalescent glitter flakie with tinges of orange that are very harvest fall. This looks different with every new polish underneath.
China Glaze Immortal (sunlight)
(shade)
Ahh, Immortal. This is probably the star of the collection. It's beautiful iridescent grey with blue, purple shimmer with an icy silver film in some lights. Just gorgeous and the formula is fantastic.
China Glaze Glitter Goblin alone and over Rougish Red (sunlight)
(shade)
Glitter Goblin is an orange, holo with some silver and black glitter in a clear base. This is my least favorite polish in this collection as I am not a fan of very fine glitter.
China Glaze Cast a Spell (sunlight)
(shade)
The many photos don't do justice to this gorgeous shade. Cast a Spell is a blackened green with lots of gold microglitter. The first time I applied this, I was instantly wowed by how opaque this formula was. It applied like a dream and was opaque in one coat. The shade also looks amazing especially when light hits it.
All in all, the Wicked collection is a small but gorgeous one filled with really nice shades and the formula is a special treat. I believe you can still find this collection at Sally Beauty stores and ebay or online stores.
