Dermelect Cosmeceuticals Runway Ready Luxury Foot Treatment Review

You know how it is- with the onset of colder weather comes dry, cracked heels.  I do have dry, cracked, discolored heels even during summer because I wear a lot of sandals and flipflops, which expose the feet to dust and the elements.  However, dry heels is also a problem for colder weather because the skin does not have the moisture that heat and humidity usually provide.  I always, always use foot cream because I don't wanna get caught "flat-footed" (pardon the pun) with unsightly heels.

I was able to try the Dermelect Cosmeceuticals Runway Ready Luxury Foot Treatment.  It contains one of my favorite oils in the world - argan oil.  It also has Shea Butter, AHA, BHA, Prosina™Protein Peptide, Hyaluronic Acid, GABA and Butcher's Broom, which has been known to enhance blood flow to the brain, legs, and feet and used to relieve varicose veins and calm inflammation to revive tired feet. The argan oil, shea butter and hyaluronic acid are supposed to work in synergy to lock moisture. Glycolic and Salicylic acids gently exfoliate the tough skin barriers. The company also claims that it has a peptide-infused technology

The first thing that I noticed in the product is the scent. It has a nice, peppermint scent that smells nice and goes well with the minty feel on the skin. I immediately feel the white dry skin marks disappear and my skin feels soft and smooth but without making it look greasy, as you can see in the photo above. I like to apply this before going to work after my morning shower. I might apply this also at night during winter before covering my feet with socks for a softer, smoother pair of heels and feet when I wake up in the morning.

All in all, this is not just a moisturizer for the feet. I like that the soothing Arnica and Butcher's Broom help calm inflammation from tired feet. This is perfect for those nights when your feet are killing you or you stayed up on your feet the whole day or night and you just want to relieve the swelling and pain. I have not tried this product when my feet are aching, but I did notice that the peppermint feel does revive the feet and relaxes it.

I like that this is in a pretty substantial 4.0 fl. oz/120 ml tube. It retails for $25 and is available at dermelect.com.

The downside is that it may be a bit price for the size, but if you are looking for a product that not only moisturizes the feet but also calms tired feet, you might want to look into this.
