NYX Haute Jersey Leopard Couture Palette Eye Look, Swatches and Review

I've never tried a NYX palette that is as comprehensive as this one. The NYX Haute Jersey Leopard Couture palette offers not one, not two, but four bronzers/highlighter for that tanned sexy skin, a duo gloss set, 24 gorgeous shadows, and two blushes. Reminds me of those intricate Hello Kitty pencil cases I owned in fourth grade - you know, those with different folding compartments? It also reminds me of a book because each "page" houses either the eye or the face/lip products. Here are some product photos:

Eyeshadows:

The shadows were quite pretty for me.  The sparkle shadows are especially gorgeous.  I've not seen such detail in shadows lately- the pretty specks of sparkle in the dark bases of color were really mesmerizing.  I also liked the different interplay of light and shade in the shadows.  The shadows are typical NYX-very pigmented, although as expected, the sparkle shadows produce a lot of fallout.  Also, the shadows with satin finishes have more pigment and staying power than the sparkly ones, although the latter are definitely prettier and attention-grabbing. Here are swatches (no base):

Lipglosses:

The lipglosses are also typical NYX - very creamy, not sticky at all, although they are not as long-lasting on the lips as I wished they were.

Bronzers:

The bronzers are great- you can choose from three different ones with varying depths and a pink highlighter shade. Two of the bronzers are also on the satin/matte side, while there is one with some shimmer; it's great for those who want to choose whether they'd like a sort of bronzey, sun-kissed shimmery look, or would opt for a more subtle, contouring shade for that day.

Blushes:

The blushes are your typical baby pink and coral blushes. They are not that unique in my opinion, but would work great if you can only bring this palette to vacation or out of town over the weekend.

All in all, I highly recommend this palette. For $25, you get all 24 shadows with different shades and finishes, two blushes, three bronzers and a highlighter, and two glosses. This is perfect for travel, and the color choices are great as well - staple shades that work well with almost all skintones.

The Shades Of U Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
