Bare Minerals READY Pressed Eye Shadows Look and Tutorial

The Dream Sequence Quad, The Grand Finale duo

The Dream Sequence
500 Thread Count, Romp
Boudoir, Nightcap

I already posted my Bare Escentuals READY Pressed Eye Shadow Swatches and Review. I also said that I was impressed with the shadows - very rich, pigmented, saturated with color. Here is my take on The Dream Sequence eye shadow quad. I LOVE this palette. The purples are very rich and a dream to apply and blend. Here is a step-by-step tutorial. All eye products are Bare Minerals unless otherwise stated.

Apply eye primer all over lid and lower lashline. Apply MAC Heirloom shadestick on lid.

Using a stiff shader brush like the MAC 239, apply Boudoir on lid.

Using the MAC 226 brush, apply Romp on crease.

Like so.

Using Sonia Kashuk blender brush apply Nightcap on outer V and crease.

Blend with a MAC 224 brush.

Using the same Sonia Kashuk brush, apply more Nightcap on outer V to create depth.

Blend harsh lines using the 224.

Using the MAC 227 brush, apply 500 Thread Count to highlight the browbone.

Apply Peter Thomas Roth liquid liner on upper lashline. Apply Red Cherry lashes #66. Apply Nightcap on outer lower lashline and Boudoir on inner lower lashline using Sonia Kashuk small detail brush. Apply Chromagraphic liner in NW20/NC30 on waterline. Apply black kohl liner on tightline. Apply mascara.

The new Bare Minerals READY Eye Shadows, quads and duos will launch on September 29, 2011.
