Bobbi Brown New Creamy Concealer and Corrector Swatches and Review

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Warm Beige, Corrector in Light to Medium Bisque

I am always on the lookout for good concealers and undereye correctors because I have dark circles that I want to combat. I was able to try Bobbi Brown's new Creamy Concealer and Corrector. These products work in tandem to banish dark undereye circles and blemishes while preventing the caked-up concealer look.

Concealing undereye circles is a two-step thing to achieve perfect coverage. First, apply the peach-colored corrector to neutralize purple or green tones of undereye circles. Next, apply a yellow-toned concealer and blend over the peach corrector to blend the entire area to your natural skintone.

Blended into the skin

My Take: I noticed that both the corrector and concealer are the perfect blend of firmness and creaminess. It is not too thin in consistency as to defeat the purpose of concealing undereye circles, and yet it is malleable and creamy enough to easily blend into the undereye area. The formula of both reminds me of MAC's Studio Sculpt concealer, one of my favorite concealers ever. This time, though, Bobbi Brown created a cream formula that is a hard cream in the pan but glides creamily on the skin.

The creaminess of the products allows the concealer to blend perfectly into the corrector to create an imperceptible, natural-looking layer over dark undereye circles. I apply these using a cat-tounge synthetic concealer brush, then blend with my finger in patting motions. I apply the corrector first to neutralize purple undereye color, then apply the concealer and blend. I also apply the yellow-toned concealer over my blemishes and on the sides of the nostrils where there are some redness present, and it makes the entire makeup look flawless and natural.

Used Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light to Medium Bisque and Concealer in Warm Beige

All in all, I don't think I can find anything wrong with the new Corrector and Concealer, except maybe to place them in bigger pots as they are a little too small, it might be hard to find them in your makeup stash or bag.  That said, I am really impressed with the formula, ease in application, texture and overall finish.  I highly recommend them if you have dark undereye circles and you are looking for a natural-looking way to banish them.

Pros: firm in the container but creamy upon application, glides easily on the skin, easy to blend, good coverage, good staying power (I set it with powder), I did not notice any settling into fine lines

Cons: packaging is a bit too small
