Hard Candy Fox in a Box Bronzing Duo in Skinny Dipping Swatches and Review

I have been given a chance to try Hard Candy's new product for spring, the Fox in a Box bronzer duo in Skinny Dipping. It is a dual-colored compact in coordinating shades that are perfect for spring and summer. I am so glad I got to try Skinny Dipping because coral is my favorite shade for the season, and this particular shade of coral is divine!

The packaging is reminiscent of Benefit's blushes' cardboard packaging. It comes with its own mini brush, but I wish they didn't include it because it felt flimsy in my opinion. However, the blush and bronzer duo are what's important, and as you can see below, the pigmentation ain't bad.

The coral strip is nicely pigmented.  If I want a gorgeous pop of coral color on the cheeks, I would swipe this on by itself.  The other color is a shimmery bronze, so when swirled together, the latter tones down the the coral shade.  However, the end result is a beautiful wearable coral with a slight sheen.  I didn't notice any blotchy areas when I applied this on the cheeks.  Application was smooth and even.

Lovely, don't you think?  The best part of this duo is the price ($6 each).

Pros: nice pigmentation, cute packaging, price

Cons: flimsy brush, limited shades available

All in all, these are nice to tote around in your beach bag for a quick touch up.  Also, if you lose this, you won't really cry over it as it is not as expensive as your other department store blushes.  For the price, you get good value for your money.  The packaging is really cute and is perfect for summer.

The Shades Of U Rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars
