Natural light - no flash
I got two MAC Dazzle lipsticks from the Digi-Pop collection of Nordstrom. I am not really a fan of glitter lipsticks, but of course I just gotta try this new lipstick formula from MAC. I got Infused With Glam and Hell Raiser because I feel the warm tones of the former would complement my skintone, and Hell Raiser because I am a sucker for lilac-tinged lipsticks, with or without glitter.

Here is one of my favorite green looks. The reason why I like it is because it is quite wearable to the point that it can probably pass for neutrals. I even wore it at work in a conservative office environment and it blended right in. I like the combination of the light green with olive greens. I used Aromaleigh eyeshadows but you can substitute other mineral or even pressed eye shadows or pigments. I can't believe I don't have full sizes of these eyeshadows yet, so I will be purchasing full size jars before Aromaleigh closes.
Here is a step-by-step. All products Aromaleigh unless otherwise stated.
Apply Urban Decay primer potion in Sin all over lid and lower lashline. Using a fluffy shader brush, apply MAC Mosscape paint pot on lid.
Here are some of my Eyeko polishes that I am featuring in this post. I am really liking Eyeko! I've had several of their polishes and although they come in smaller 8.5 ml bottles compared to regular nail polish here in the US, I love the formula and the staying power.

Here is a look featuring some of my favorite eyeshadows from Aromaleigh's Ciao Italia! Collection. This look reminds me of the neutral look I used using the Urban Decay Naked Palette, so these colors might be a good alternative if you don't have the UD palette yet.
For my base, I used MAC Coral Crepe paint pot.
All products Aromaleigh unless otherwise stated.
Apply Urban Decay primer potion in Sin all over lid and lower lashline. Using a fluffy shader brush, apply MAC Coral Crepe paint pot on lid. Blend with finger. Using a stiff shader brush like the MAC 239, apply Bacio dry on lid in patting motions.
Using the same brush, apply Ciocolatto dry on outer V and crease.
Blend harsh edges using the MAC 224 brush.
One word: perfection. At least for my skin. This is how I can describe Purpose gentle cleansing bar from Johnson & Johnson in my honest experience. This is particularly amazing for the face when I don't have my PCA Skincare cleanser handy. It is hypo-allergenic and oil-free, and won't clog pores. To be honest, though (please don't laugh), I use Purpose cleansing bar to wash my underarms. Even under the scorching heat of the desert sun, I gotta say that this never made my underarms sweaty (or even smell like they are) at all.
I perspire a lot especially during the summer and when I work out. I wasn't pleased with my beauty bar soaps or body washes because they leave this scent on my underarms that didn't seem to go well with my body chemistry. Let's admit it - we want something that will make us smell fresh and keep us smelling fresh throughout the day.
I only found that freshness with Purpose. Even when I use other soaps or body washes on my body, I always wash my underarms with Purpose. It leaves a clean, fresh scent that doesn't clash with my anti-perspirant or body chemistry. It significantly reduced sweat on my underarms and even when I perspire all over after a workout, my underarms don't smell bad at all.
I honestly suggest that you try Purpose if you want a soap that will really help curb that embarrassing sweaty smell, especially during summer or when you work out or play sports. This soap has become my lifesaver, and I will be buying this soap forever. This is definitely holy grail material for me.

Have you guys tried Purpose cleansing bar? How do you like it?

Okay, so it's perhaps common knowledge in the makeup community that Aromaleigh is closing. However, even before Aromaleigh announced its closing, Kristen was already working on the Ciao Italia! collection, and decided to release this collection as Aromaleigh's last waltz before it closes. I am SO glad Kristen decided to release this, because I can honestly say that this might be the best limited edition I've seen from Kristen in a long time! I am so in love with the Ciao Italia collection. Swatches are shown below. These were taken on a cloudy day, which is very rare nowadays in my area, but still the pigmentation and richness of these products shone through. Take note that these were swatched with no base or primer, but notice the depth of the hues.

So I was able to try MAC's new mascara called Haute & Naughty. It's basically a two-in-one mascara that aims to please those who want full-on thickness and volume for their lashes, AND those that don't want clumping and just want to define their already lush lashes to give them a natural look.
MAC describes this innovative product as follows:
A two-in-one mascara that lets you choose if you want lashes to be naturally defined, or instantly combed and loaded for full-on drama. Easy to use dual-wiper system allows this lightweight formula to go on either way. One wiper refines the application for a clean sweep, while the other loads the lashes for greater impact.
It has two tubes encompassing the wand. The first one is the outer cylinder that houses the product. When you take the wand out using the purple and hot pink caps together, you will find the applicator loaded with mascara, and thus would be perfect for those who like to have a lot of mascara for an amped-up look. This is the "Naughty" side of the product.
You then slowly pull out the wand from the inner cylinder using the hot pink cap to wipe off the excess product.
