Silver and Grey Eye Look Using MAC Eye Shadows

Here's another silver/grey look, but this time a little lighter, without the heavy false lashes. I am trying different mascaras which I will be featuring in separate reviews, so pardon the absence of falsies for this look. I will be dishing out a review of my mascara in this look in a future entry. I used MAC greys and silvers for this look. I love these colors from MAC because they are quite rich and pigmented.

Silverthorn, however, has got to be one of the prettiest MAC silver shadows ever. It goes on buttery smooth, and is neither gritty nor chalky. Color pay-off is amazing as well. I used this silver as my main lid color.

I used MAC eyeshadow in Pincurl to highlight.

Here is a step-by-step. All eye products MAC unless otherwise stated.

Apply Urban Decay primer potion in Sin all over lid and lower lashline. Using a stiff shader brush like the 239, apply Aromaleigh mineral eyeshadow in Moth foiled. I used Moth as a pigmented base to make the shadows on top more vibrant.

Using the same shader brush, apply Silverthorn on lid.

Using Sonia Kashuk blender brush, apply Silver Ring on outer V.

Using the same brush, apply Knight Divine on crease and outer V. Blend with the 224 brush.

Using the Sonia Kashuk blender brush, apply Cloudburst (black with tiny green flecks) sparingly on top of Knight Divine. Blend with the 224 brush.

Apply L'Oreal Lineur Intense liquid liner (felt tip) on upper lashline. Using the Stila No. 5 brush, apply Pincurl on browbone.

Like so.

Using the Essence of Beauty mini-crease brush, apply Silverthorn on inner lower lashline and Knight Divine on outer lower lashline. Apply Chromagraphic pencil NW25/NC30 on waterline, and Urban Decay 24/7 glide on liner in Zero on tightline. Apply mascara.

Sorry no FOTD! Whenever I make my EOTDs nowadays, I am always in a hurry so I keep forgetting to take FOTDs. For those of you who are probably wondering what I look like now (after weeks or months of not posting my mug), here are some stuff I had been up to:

With some of my pretty friends unwinding after work on a Friday

With my little boy at the zoo

the petting zoo

feeding Lory the parrot ;-)
