All-Minerals Look

I've thought of making an all mineral look, so here's what I came up with. I want to show that you can actually have an all-mineral makeup look, and it won't look washed out either. The only non-mineral products I used were MAC's Beige-ing shadestick, stick concealer, primer and mascara. Aromaleigh Rocks! Sonic eyeshadows are not 100% minerals, but I incorporated it in the look because they are mostly minerals anyway. Here's a step-by-step illustration.

Apply MAC Beige-ing shadestick on lids and browbone, smooth on brows. Blend with ring finger. Foil The She Space's Wasted Intrigue shadow on lid using MAC 239 shader brush (or any flat shadow brush).

Foil Adorned With Grace shadow in Rose Bronze on outer half of lid.

Apply Aromaleigh Rocks! Sonic shadow in Rock Bottom dry on crease and outer V using Sonia Kashuk crease/blender brush. Apply Adorned With Grace shadow in Malted Milk dry above crease to blend out harsh edges.

Wet-line Bare Escentuals liner shadow in Black Ruby on upper lashline. Apply Mascara and fill in brows. Apply Adorned With Grace shadow in Sheer Beige on browbone and inner corners.

Face:

Camellia Rose skin-smoothing primer V.2
DreamWorld mineral foundation in Theia and Amenti (Luna formula)
DermaBlend Quickfix concealer
Bare Escentuals Well-Rested on undereye area
Aromaleigh Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder in Peaches & Cream
LaurEss matte mineral blush in Persuasion
Dayna's Minerals glow #2 (discontinued) over blush
Valerie Beauty Starlet Glow mineral bronzer to contour

Lips:
Silk Naturals lippie in Birthday Suit
Lumiere Lumi Lips lipgloss in Ruby Slippers

cai- I don't exactly shun non-mineral makeup, because as you can see, I also love MAC's eye, lip and blush products. I just prefer using pure mineral makeup for my foundation, and I guess you can call me a mineral makeup purist- I prefer mineral foundation that has 5 or less ingredients - the purer, the more natural, the better, mainly because I have acne-prone, sensitive skin. I can basically use non-mineral makeup, but the first cosmetic to touch my skin has got to be the purest mineral makeup available. I also like loose mineral products like blushes and shadows because they are free of preservatives and chemicals that can irritate skin.

Thank you ladies! :)
