Here's a step-by-step illustration of my look featuring products from the MAC Cult of Cherry collection. I thought I wouldn't like the Tempting quad but I actually do now. I used Indianwood paint pot as a base underneath, so that the green tones of Sharp wouldn't be too glaringly - er - green. The Indianwood gave it a goldish-bronzey tint that went well with the darker browns in the quad. All products MAC unless otherwise indicated.
Apply Beige-ing shadestick on lid to browbone and on lower lashline; smooth on brows. Apply Indianwood paint pot on lid using a concealer brush.
Using the 239 brush, apply Sharp on the lid using a dabbing motion. See the bronzey undertone that Indianwood created?
Using Japonesque blender brush (similar to the 224 with a smaller, softer head), apply Tempting on outer V.
Using the same brush, apply Dark Edge on outer lid, blending into Tempting.
Using the 217, blend the two darker colors into Sharp. Apply more Sharp as needed.
Blend harsh lines. Apply Next to Nothing to highlight. Apply Vanilla pigment on inner corners and blend with Next to Nothing on browbone.
Apply Graphic Brown fluidline. Apply Engraved Powerpoint kohl liner to tightline and on waterline. Using the 219 pencil brush, apply Sharp on inner to mid lower lashline, and Dark Edge on outer lower lashline. Apply mascara and fill in brows

Your shadow application is flawless. And I like the way you used Indianwood as a base and transformed Sharp into a totally new colour.

Mandi-OMG, we could be neighbors! I live a stone's throw away from the mall too. Not impossible to bump into you at the MAC counter at Nordstrom's, eh? I'm thinking Creme Cerise would look gorgeous on your skintone. ;-)
Oh wow-Creme Cerise looks divine on you! Do you think it's similar to one of the other MAC nudes like Cherish, Freckletone, or Jubilee? I'm trying to stop myself from buying it!
10 August, 2008 21:37Oh! I love the way you blended your eyeshadow... Looks absolutely stunning!
11 August, 2008 00:15This is a beautiful look. Love the blending

11 August, 2008 19:28we might huh?..i usually go on weekdays though to avoid the "rush" which is basically the whole weekend..lol..
oh and yea, small world..Izle and I are friends too..we always hang out at her house which is not too far from the mall either..we should all get together some time..
Yellow Fever- unfortunately, I don't have any of those lipsticks you mentioned. I do think it would look great on you because you have warm undertones like me. I also like that it's not as dark as the other Cult of Cherry lippies. :)
11 August, 2008 19:42Gracie and gio- thanks a lot. :)
Mandi- I was just thinking of Izy yesterday and today because I promised to send her some fruits. :) Yeah we should meet up one of these days. Didn't know you and Izy are friends!
