Purring for Meow Cosmetics

I just got my package from Meow Mineral Cosmetics last week, and I was totally floored. I knew that the full sizes were three times the size of regular full size mineral makeup jars, but seeing them in person still took my breath away. The cute confetti in the gigantic boxes added a touch of girly-ness that is just so alluring. I also loved the feliner samples in Sweaty Paws and Cat-astrophic. The clincher was the leopard print tissue. This company really takes their cat theme seriously!!

see how miniscule my HUGE 9g Bare Escentuals jar is compared to my Meow (notice the cute tissue)

Now the only problem is that I'm getting darker because of the onset of spring and summer, and my winter shade of Flawess Feline in Frisky Chatreux no longer works. I played with the samples that I have, and it seems that Flawless Feline Naughty Abyssinian (probably mixed with a peachier shade like Naughty Chartreux) is a lot better as my summer shade (getting lost with all those cumbersome cat names?). So was I the cat that got the cream? I would say if I find my perfect shade, yes. This formula feels so light on the skin, even with their most intensive coverage variant, the Flawless Feline. I like the light feeling, especially for balmy summer days. It's not as long lasting as Monave, Lauress, or J.Lynne, but for the unbelievable price (you get a whopping quarter cup of foundation for the same amount of dollars you spend with other brands), airy feel and seamless finish, I am not surprised why I know many women who consider this as their holy grail foundation.
