MAD Minerals and Lure Beauty Part 2

I tried out my MAD Minerals and Lure Beauty and I can definitely say that I like the application a lot better this time. I just think MAD's Medium Golden is still too light for me. I just want to say that MAD Minerals amazed me for keeping my oilies at bay under the sweltering heat of the Arizona sun for 3 hours! My family and I had a very satisfying brunch at Applebee's, then checked out some nifty model homes from around our growing city. We were under the heat of the sun from a little before noon till mid-afternoon, going in and out of model homes, where temperature soared to 102 degrees. When we arrived home, I was SO amazed, no shine on my oily T-zone whatsoever! Usually I would have used a couple of oil-blotting sheets to absorb the grease on my t-zone, but I was so surprised that this time, there was absolutely none. Major brownie points to MAD for this! I just have to find another shade with better depth.

As for Lure Beauty, I think the key is to apply the foundation dry instead of wet, and to let the foundation sink in and mix with the moisturizer before taking photos! LOL Here's a better version I think of the foundation in Y9, although I have to try their Y10 first to see if this would work better. I love the matteness! It also has very good staying power. I'd like to try their body souffles as well (I'm such a sucker for scented body butters!). I'm wearing their Divine shimmer blush as well and I really love it. It does look like my MAC Fab blush I wore in the photos above.

Thanks Lili! =) You looked great in Lure as well! I just knew you would love the lip color as it is so YOU. I can't wear that much vivid color on my lips since I use a lot of eye color, but I got to use it since I didn't use e/s in that pic. But since I saw that it looked nice, I think I should use it some more. And yes, you will LOVE J.Lynne's products!
